How to Prepare Borogoru Kava

A simple home preparation guide

Preparing Kava Direct Noble Borogoru Kava is straightforward when you have the right equipment and follow the preparation method carefully. In this video, you’ll learn how to:

  • Measure 60 g of kava powder and 600–900 mL of clean drinking water—equivalent to 1 g of kava for every 10–15 mL of water.
  • Place the powder inside a clean, food-safe strainer bag.
  • Knead and squeeze the strainer bag in the water for approximately five minutes.
  • Squeeze out the remaining liquid and strain the prepared kava into a second clean bowl before drinking.
  • Pour a 100–150 mL serving into a small serving bowl or coconut shell.

Cool or room-temperature drinking water is normally used. On cold days, water warmed to 35–45°C may be used. Never use hot or boiling water.
